What Are Foundation Grants?

The Glenbrook Foundation welcomes grant applications from District 225 teachers and administrators who wish to bring innovative ideas to life within their classrooms and schools. By supporting creative and forward-thinking initiatives, the Foundation seeks to foster an enriched learning environment that benefits both students and staff. Over the years, these grants have enabled the integration of cutting-edge technology into classrooms, transforming traditional learning into dynamic and engaging experiences. They have also helped establish collaborative learning spaces that encourage teamwork, creativity, and critical thinking among students. In addition, the grants have supported a variety of unique educational opportunities that empower students and staff to explore new concepts, develop key skills, and enhance overall academic achievement. Through these efforts, the Foundation continues to play a vital role in advancing education and innovation across District 225.

Innovation Grant Application

If you are interested in applying for a grant, you are encouraged to reach out to your school principal for guidance and assistance. It is important to note that all grant applications must undergo a thorough review process, including approval from both your department chair and your school principal before submission.

Grant Criteria: To be considered for a grant, applications must meet the following criteria:

  1. Clearly demonstrate how the proposed initiative will enhance educational experiences within District 225.
  2. Present innovative and forward-thinking ideas that align with the Foundation’s mission and priorities.
  3. Outline a detailed plan for implementation, including anticipated outcomes and measurable goals.
  4. Provide a well-structured budget that accurately reflects the financial needs of the project.
  5. Ensure collaboration and support from relevant staff, including the department chair and principal.
